• New boiler

  Fitted our Worcester combi in a day and took the old tank out of the loft while they were at it. Dan talked us through the controls before he left and even stuck a note on the cupboard with the pressure it should sit at. Hot water by 4pm.

• Boiler repair

  Boiler died on a Sunday morning with two kids in the house. Rang at 8, someone was here by half 10. Diverter valve. Had the part on the van. Proper job.

• Boiler service

  Booked the annual service online and got a text the day before with a time slot. Engineer turned up on time, put dust sheets down and explained what he'd checked. Price was what the website said.

• New boiler

  Good install and the price didn't move from the quote, which I was worried about. Only knocked a star off because the start got pushed back two days when their merchant was short on stock. They did ring to tell me though, so no complaints really.

• Radiators

  Three new radiators and the old ones taken away. The lad who fitted them was very tidy and moved all the furniture back where it was. The back bedroom is actually warm now.

• Landlord certificate

  I've got four rentals and they do all the gas safety certificates now. They deal with the tenants directly to get in, and the certificates land in my inbox the same day. Saves me a lot of chasing.

• Boiler repair

  Pressure kept dropping every few days. Another company wanted to sell me a new boiler. These found a weeping valve on a radiator in the spare room and fixed it for a fraction of the price. Honest people.

• New boiler

  Old back boiler behind the fire, so not a simple swap. Dan came out, measured up and gave me a fixed price in writing that evening. Two days of work, no mess left behind, and the gas bill is already lower.

• Boiler service

  Quick, friendly and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Pointed out our CO alarm was out of date, which I'd never have noticed.

• Power flush

  Radiators were cold at the bottom for years. After the power flush they heat right through. Took longer than they first said, most of the day, but they explained why when they saw the colour of the water coming out.

• Boiler repair

  I'm on my own and was nervous about having someone in. The engineer showed his Gas Safe card at the door without me asking, kept me updated the whole time and left the kitchen cleaner than he found it.

• New boiler

  Got three quotes. These weren't the cheapest but they were the only ones who explained why a system boiler made more sense for our house than a combi, with two bathrooms. Glad we listened. Showers are great.

  Second year using them. Reminder came through a month before the service was due, which is exactly what I need because I would forget otherwise.

  Fault code on the boiler, sent a photo on WhatsApp and they told me straight away it was likely the fan. Booked in for the next morning, fixed in an hour. Easy.

  From the survey to the finished install it was nine days. Everything was explained, the quote had no extras on the day, and the guarantee paperwork came through by email the same week.
